Pub & Club Regatta 2000 Despite the gloomy weather forecast for the weekend, the sun shone and the wind stayed light making this Pub and Club Regatta one of the most memorable one in years. All the crews that took part entered into the spirit of the occasion and seemed to thoroughly enjoy their first taste of competitive rowing. Steven Redgrave's position in the coxless four perhaps is not in jeopardy just yet but there is a long time between now and Athens in 2004! The disco on the Saturday night was extremely well attended making the early start on the Sunday more stressful than it might otherwise have been ! The pictures below were taken on the Saturday only, as all the film was used up. Sorry ! The results of the Regatta will be posted on the results page when they come through to me. Apologies for not naming all the crews or if some are incorrect, this will be updated soon.
