LLANDAFF SOCIETY OF WATERMEN

This society was formed at the beginning of time itself ( and some of the original founders are still in it ). I promise to include a brief history as soon as Dai Morgan can organise it, whenever that might be. In short this hapless band of merry people are all former rowers  ( some more former than others ! )and some with pedigree. Our membership stretches across the world and is open to guests from all walks of life (and shapes!). 

The purpose of the society is primarily to have a good time, seeing old friends in other clubs and secondly to raise funds for Llandaff Rowing Club. Recognised far and wide, we have had many a memorable ( and some probably best forgotten! ) events around the rowing circuit. I hope I don't leave anyone out in this list but over the years we have reason to thank the following clubs for their hospitality :- Ross , Gloucester, Monmouth, Oxford, Bristol, Bath, Bradford, and today, Worcester Rowing Club. I have included a snapshot of some of the oddities of the day which was, as usual, a brilliant day. However, I should add that there will I am told be a reprimand for those that fell asleep on tour! I have tried my best to be kind with most of these pics but there is only so much that modern technology can do! but cameras don't lie!
